Upcoming Testing Information

Important Upcoming Testing Info for Dwyer Students
Posted on 10/01/2020
Throughout the school year, we will be offering multiple State and National assessments on campus to our Dwyer students. Please take a moment to review the information and links below to make the most of the testing opportunities.

Important Testing Information for Distance Learning Students & Parents:
We will need to know whether or not your student will be coming on campus to take these school-day assessments. To streamline this process, we are asking you to sit with your student and fill out the Districts “Testing Registration” survey; the survey can be found in the student portal by searching the word “testing.”

To help you fill out this survey, please review the following documents and links included below: How-to videos, Dwyer's October and November assessment calendars, Graduation requirements, and Concordant scores for assessments required for graduation.

It is very important that all distance learners fill out the "Testing Registration" survey so that we have adequate time to prepare for added students coming on campus. Additionally, the survey will also be asking about transportation. If your student will need to ride the bus, please indicate that on your survey so that we may make sure that is available on testing days.

Please be aware that you have the option to 'opt-out' of coming on campus to take these tests. However, please understand that i
f you select "No” for ACT-NCR, PSAT NMSQT, FSA ELA or FSA Algebra, you will be missing an opportunity to meet a graduation requirement. The FDOE does not have any plans to waive the graduation requirements for 2020-2021.

Finally, Students coming onto campus to test must follow school and CDC guidelines and wear a mask on campus while following social distancing procedures. If you have any testing specific questions, please reach out to Testing Coordinator Ms. Schneider and she will be able to assist.
