Dual Enrollment Opportunities

As a Dual Enrollment student, you can begin taking college classes in high school and earn a two-year college degree by the time you graduate or soon after. The courses you take count toward both your high school diploma and your college requirements. In most cases, tuition and books are free.

There are two options for you to pursue:
1) Dual Enrollment: Part-time (Some classes taken at the college, and remainder of classes taken at Dwyer HS).
2) Early Admission: Full-time (Seniors only. All classes taken at the college).

More Information:
-View the Dual Enrollment PowerPoint Presentation.
-View the Dual Enrollment Academic Advising Guide for help in determining what classes.

-Students must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA and qualifying test scores to take Dual Enrollment/Early Admission courses. Visit the PBSC Testing Center website for PERT testing locations and hours.

-Students interested in taking Dual Enrollment/Early Admission courses at PBSC must meet with their counselor the semester prior to complete the required paperwork. Click here to access the Dual Enrollment Checklist.

Summer 2021 DE Authorization Request

As a reminder, returning dual enrolled students only need to submit a completed Dual Enrollment Authorization Form. The form is available on the Dual Enrollment webpage under the "High School Counselor" accordion table (also attached). The document is not password protected. The form is a fillable PDF, so digital signatures are acceptable.

Students new to the Dual Enrollment program need their Dual Enrollment Authorization Form, GPA verification (transcript), applicable ACT, P-ACT, SAT, P-SAT, Accuplacer and/or PERT scores, and applicable AP, AICE, and/or IB scores. Questions regarding PERT availability can be addressed to

The Dual Enrollment Orientation is online. Students will go to the link below to watch the orientation video. Once the video is completed, students and their parent/legal guardian must print, sign, scan, and email the Dual Enrollment Agreement (there is a button linked next to the orientation video, it is also attached for your viewing). The agreement will be sent to the dual enrollment inbox at dualenrollment@palmbeachstate.edu. Keep in mind, this will only be for students who are new to the program and have completed an application.
