Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to take postsecondary coursework (college courses at a college/university) and simultaneously earn credit toward a high school diploma, a career certificate, an associate or baccalaureate degree at a Florida public or eligible private institution.

Palm Beach County has an agreement with Palm Beach State College, Florida Atlantic University and the University of Florida for dual enrollment. Dual enrolling from a particular school does not give a student an advantage over others in college admission at the school they choose to dual enroll with so it is recommended to participate at any school that offers the best classes for the student.

Students must meet eligibility requirements in order to participate in the dual enrollment program and successfully complete their classes to remain in the program.
